Who We Are

Carlos combines a distinguished track record in strategy consulting with substantial executive management experience, particularly in contexts of growth, transformation and organisational change.

Prior to joining Recarte & Fontenla, he served on the Global Executive Committee of Altadia, a Carlyle-backed international industrial group, with responsibility for strategy, marketing, business development, M&A and commercial transformation. Earlier in his career, he worked at KPMG and FTI Consulting, where he led strategy, due diligence and integration projects across a range of sectors, including industrials, energy, telecommunications and consumer markets.

Carlos holds a MSc in Industrial Engineering from ICAI. His career has given him a perspective that combines strategic rigour, commercial insight and first-hand experience of decision-making and organisational transformation.
